1. What Insurance, Qualifications & Checks do Grassroots Coaching staff have?
We are fully committed to the quality of our courses and the safety and welfare of all children who attend them. All of our staff are fully F.A. qualified coaches, First Aid Trained and CRB checked.

Grassroots Coaching is insured through The FA, with £5 million Civil liability, covering Public Liability, Product Liability and Professional Indemnity.

2. Will my child be OK to attend on their own?
Yes, the majority of children who attend our courses do so without any family or friends. Our fun-football atmosphere allows children to enjoy a positive football experience in a friendly, safe and secure environment.

3. My child is only 3 years old, will a Grassroots Coaching course be suitable?
Absolutely yes, our coaching sessions specialise in the needs of all children between the ages of 3-16 years, right down to the last detail, such as helping children put on their boots and tie their laces. For many children this is their first experience of football, so we want to make sure that every child enjoys the experience.

4. What happens if the weather is bad?
When we book our course venues we ensure that both indoor and outdoor facilities are made available. This way, if the weather is too poor for the children to be outside we have a contingency plan. During hot conditions, please ensure your child comes prepared with sun cream and a sun hat. Please note, Grassroots Coaching staff will not be able to apply sun cream without prior written consent from a parent/guardian.

5. Is food and drink provided?
We ask that all children bring with them a packed-lunch, including enough fluids and drinks to keep them hydrated all day.

6. What does my child need to bring with them?
Other than bringing a packed-lunch and enough drinks (non fizzy) for the whole day, your child should come prepared to play both indoor and outdoor fun-football or sports activities. Warm clothes are essential. If the weather is wet, we advise a change of clothes is brought. Boots are recommended but SHIN PADS are a MUST.

7. How can I book my child on one of your courses?
To book a place on one of our courses, please complete the booking form that your school will have sent home with your child. Send the completed slip with your payment (cheque or cash) to the school office.

8. What is Grassroots Coaching’s Refund Policy?
Unfortunately, there are no refunds whatsoever once we have processed your payment and application. If your child is ill and is unable attend we will give you a credit note for the next half term (Please note this is only for half term courses). If you are able to find someone to take your child's place, this will be fine, as long as we have been given full details of the new child at least 24 hours prior to the course start. Please check dates carefully before you book, no refunds are provided for any sessions missed.

9. What methods of payment do you take?
You can pay by either cash or cheque, please make all cheques payable to “Grassroots Coaching”.
